Winter News:
Chyerdak Kaiden
Chyerdak Kaiden arrived from Belgium on Thursday, December 22. Deborah Soete drove from his home in Belgium the night before to the Amsterdam airport, where he had to check in at 7:30 AM for the 12:30 PM flight. After a short flight delay, he flew direct from Amsterdam to Calgary where we picked him up at about 3:30 PM on Thursday. This was quite the ordeal for the little guy. He travelled back to Wolfwoods in the front seat of the truck and snacked on kibble and water during the 2.5 hour drive. I gained another extra large dog kennel which I strapped into the box of the truck. He had the added stress of meeting new people, new borzoi, and experiencing snow for the first time, however, his outgoing character allowed him to fit right in very quickly. He slept in bed with us the first night, and has done so ever since arriving. The other borzoi have their own particular spots on the bedroom floor. We are having a lot of fun over the Christmas holidays playing both inside and outdoors. Kaiden will start working on his Canadian Championship this summer.
